2026 to 2027
- Annual equivalent
- £92,000.00

- £24,232.00

Assumptions
- The annual figure is the day rate times the days you enter. It is not a salary, and it ignores expenses, VAT and time between contracts.
- Take-home pay then uses the employed salary estimate, which charges employee National Insurance rather than Class 4.
- Inside IR35 and umbrella pay are not modelled.
Questions
Should a contractor use this as employed pay?
Only as a comparison. A limited company or sole trader is taxed differently. The self-employment estimator is the closer tool for a profit.
