Emergency funds
An emergency fund is cash you can reach, sized from the costs you could not drop quickly.
It is not a new asset
If the money is already in a savings account, counting it again as an emergency fund would inflate your net worth. Aldoraun treats the goal as an allocation of cash you already have.
There is no required number of months. Three or six are common starting points, not rules.
